We’ll start with my favorite, High Guy. Why, because I have for a long time loved getting high, because it’s an escape from reality. Why do I love escaping from reality? Because my life is a nightmare. I live in a daymare, and have been trying to get out for a long time. Just yesterday I started work on a treatment for a movie entitled, "The Fed Ex Nightmare." And since I did this, my head has been more clear. Usually it’s a mess of all the things that are impending on me in my cruel world.
I have never done glue, but I have sat in a wicker chair like Guy and wished that I knew how. I don’t know what kind to use, and how to get it; besides, I don’t have the money. Remember, I live in a nightmare. Why? Because I don’t have any money. If you don’t have any, your life is probably similar. You have to be well off to escape it. Otherwise, you will be standing there at a bus stop and people will be trying to sell you stuff and it will be crazy and you’ll wish that you were dead. In the end of my movie I’m going to have the main character contemplating suicide. Because that’s what I seem to do a lot of, but when I have my drugs, then things are different—I’m crazy. Yes, drugs do make me crazy but I still keep doing them I don’t know why. That’s what they call a junkie. —Earl Parker
